Hello to everyone, I just wanted to say I passed NC1 EXAM today. Halleluya! thanks to all who posted helpful info. Good luck to all who still need to take this exam... Study everything this was a difficult test to me!

 Cheesy  Congrats!!!!!  I passed it the 16th...boy was I happy!  Now, on to NC3 testing in August!  Doesn't it feel great!  (especially to get the first test out of the way for me!).

What areas would you say focus on?  I am studying for it now and their is so much information..I know the break down of the test, but geeezzzzz . Im sure it will get better as I get more organized

Congrats..... I'm still stressing about what study materials to use for NC1...Can anyone please help!!! I have TCN's NC 1 module, which I got off- of Ebay....Is this sufficient, or should I also use Saunders NCLEX-RN Book to supplement? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP, ...Don;t have a lot of cash to buy textbooks right now, any advice would be greatful.....THANKS

I used TCN and Lisa Arends tips....and I got an A on it forst try...You don't need to spend a fortune to do well.  I believe in a higher power...so I got help there too!  Roll Eyes

Thanks soo much for responding Becky214...Whoooo Now I can focus and read this TCn NC 1 module, but I'll also use Lisa Arends Cds' I HEAR soo much great things about those CDs', and my co-worker is going to lend me her TCN/ Copy of the TCN modules...So think I can F.O.C.U.S now..I'm sooo happy so many EC students our out there, makes me feel like I'm in nursing school again  Cheesy

I know what you mean...this is one HUGE class!  My LPN class started with 24 and we graduated 12!  Back then you got a number score instead of pass/fail and reciprocity was based on your score.  all 12 of us were well over 500 so got national reciprocity (except NY and CA ant TX did not participate then).

I was unsure how this method of schooling would go, but I have been pleasantly surprised! (Mostly because all these other students are so willing to help me get through things.)  It is super...and so are my fellow students!
