I signed up through The College Network they say I take their tests not Excelsior's.. is this true?  I was told the only thing I need to study from Excelsior is there clinical video.  They also guarantee you will pass..if not they send a tutor to your house and pay for your test until you pass if you fail twice.

The College Network is a publishing company that supplies you with study materials to pass EXCELSIOR COLLEGE EXAMS.  In addition, you have to pay $200+ to Excelisor College to take their exams.  Finally when you are ready for the CPNE, Excelsior College will send you a big study guide that you will need to read to prepare yourself for that final clinical exam......plus you have to use several additional resources to prepare for the clincal exam if you want to pass the first time.  That video that your College Network referred to is helpful but it only gives you an idea about the CPNE process.  It does not prepare you for the CPNE...in my opinion.

This information is correct. The college network is a a publishing company and does NOT grant degrees. They provide the high price materials to study to pass the EC exams. You would still have to pay EC per test and the fee is now $235 per test and the CPNE is something like $1825. You can go straight through EC and by-pass the college network. You can also buy the college network study guides off of e bay for a little of nothing...

I made the mistake of buying The College Network scam! I called for their help on 8-6-07 and was told they did not have any thing to help me with and when I take the test for the 3rd time they will pay for it after I do.All they had to say was they did not see why I did not pass.I have paid for another lesson ,Ishould have saved my money .I will not should on myself ,but I will not spent any more money with this company and will try to get the word out!
