I also took this in a day---you have 10 questions in the quizzes---you can take notes, print stuff out to help you on the final--and I would advise doing either one---50 questions on the final, 2 points a piece. Know about search engines, the library and how to find things on the shelf at the library.

One way out is to already have an graduate degree although in my case they have not responded to my emails about exemption. In their pdf they do state Master's or Higher degree does exempt you from this requirement and if you've taken an intro to research class somewhere else.
My guess is it's a institutional money maker and most will not be exempt (even w/advanced degrees). But it's there in writing if it helps.

I hope you know that IL does not honor the ASN Degree from Excelsior. There are five states involved: GA, AL, CA, IL, & MD. I am an RT from Alabama, but I have to get my RN license in another state or work at the VA.

I am not sure this is right, because GA is letting them endorse in. Lisa S. posted a list about the different states not too long ago. There are states that require 'clincal' but that doesn't mean you can't get a license. Find her post.

Just take it and get it over with. I think that I spent more time trying to convince EX not to make me take the course then I did actually working on the course. Everyone is right, you can do it in a weekend and sometimes even less time then that.
