Greetings everyone,
I am hoping that some of you can give me your opinion as to which one of these workshop is best. After doing my research I have narrowed it down to these two, and I am still at a stand still. I wish I could take both. But, would rather just go with the one that will prepare me totally! For those who have crossed this bridge already, can you please shed some light on my dilemma? I am sure both are good, but which one is better in your opinion? Thanks.

Lisa S.,
Thank you for your response. Can you tell me what you liked specifically about Tina's. Did you go to any others, and if so what didn't you like about there's. Thank you so much.

Nursebuffie,
Thank you for your response. Can you tell me more about the Tina in PA workshop that you mentioned? In what ways is it like a boot camp? What specifically did you like about hers? How much is it? How long is it for? Does she have a simulation lab with all equipment? Thank you.

There are two Tinas:

http://www.cheducation.com/ -- Tina in California
http://www.necpneworkshop.com/ -- Tina in Pennsylvania

Both women have fabulous workshops, and are themselves EC grads. I went to Tina's workshop in PA -- it was wonderful! If you check her site, you can see the schedule -- http://www.necpneworkshop.com/tp7a.html -- it's very aggressive, and you cover a lot in three days. She keeps class sizes very small (there were only 3 other students when I went), and you get lots of hands-on practice with your peers. Fabulous!! All the others I was with passed on their first attempts, too.

Tina in California I know by reputation, and I corresponded with her a couple of times in email -- she is a very nice person, and her workshop has a great reputation for producing students who pass the CPNE. Her workshop is something like 5 days.

I think it boils down to travel expenses, etc. I was able to drive to Tina's workshop in PA, so that worked well for me.
