Hi,
Just wondering how long it took to get your "unofficial review?" I'm also just starting. I'm trying to decide whether to go ahead and take Health Safety or wait and do everything through the payment plan. Advice?

What payment plan are you talking about? What materials are you using to prepare? Whatever you do don't use TCN... i took health and safety exam yesterday and didn't do so well...alot of the questions on the exam were nothing that i studied!

I used RUE, came out with a 2.88 and I am just fine with that. Took 10 months to do it.

I am thinking about starting the LPN to RN with Excelsior. I am so scared I can't do it!!! Do I have to enroll with them before I can take tests?

Hey we r in da same boat!! But there is two exams u can take without being enrolled which is health safety and the transition role to rn...hope this helps the exams r 250.00

Hi, I'm new to the forum as well. Regarding the last reply about taking exams before registration, what do you suggest? Do you suggest we take the two exams indicated first before enrolling to see if this style of learning works for us? That's what I was thinking. Also, can you take any general studies exams before enrolling? Also, who do you feel has the best study materials?

Well I'm still waiting on my study materials to come in the mail but I was told to use studygroup 101 Lisa arends n excelsior practice test n da recommended text book from college network but excelsior also has a content guide to help u study for the exams...but I was gonna take the two tests that I can first just to save up on the cost because its 800.00 to start but you can do a payment plan

Ok Sunshine will do. My Lisa arends cd was suppose to come yesterday but it didn't so hopefully tomorrow n I just ordered the one from studygroup today..I'm excited too  |

I bought it but didnt use it too much. She has her logo as a background on all of her stuff. Most of it you cannot print to study from. I used a computer-based practice exam from nursingexam.net, and studygroup101 for the most part. You can print everything from studygroup101 and it is written a lot better. You can find both on Ebay. Search for " Excelsior Nursing Health Safety computer-based exam CD" and studygroup101. Good luck |
