Just to clarify ... The College Network (TCN) is a publishing company -- it doesn't award any degrees. You'd be getting your ASN from Excelsior College. From what I've heard, while the materials are good, the price is VERY high, you get locked into a contract, and you still have to pay all of your Excelsior fees -- the enrollment fee of $895, the per-exam fee of $235, the CPNE fee of $1850. And if it takes you more than a year, you pay Excelsior another $440 for your annual student services fee. What you pay to TCN is in addition to all of that.

People sell used TCN books on eBay all the time ... might be worth seeing if you could get your study materials that way vs. paying thousands for them. The people I've seen post about TCN like the materials, but feel that it's way too expensive, and many of them get locked into the contract before they realize that they could have just purchased the textbooks from Excelsior (or amazon.com or half.com, etc.) or study guides from eBay and saved a lot of money.

The college network is a very expensive publishing company that does not have the power to grant degrees. You can go directly through Excelsior and by-pass TCN altogether.  I second the idea of going to E-bay and buying guides if thats what you feel you need, Just beware and do your homework before locking yourself into a contract.
