Passes H&S today, I thought I did better then I did but its done with. A lot of infant questions, subjective/objective data and communication questions, all else pretty straight forward.

Hi there,
Congrats on passing Health Safety. I am studying for it right now and am OVERWHELMED and worried. Seems like SO much info. Especially on assessments in Chapter 25 of Fundamentals text!! I was wondering if there were alot of assessment questions or if EC was ...as usual...OVERloading my brain with too much info that is not even going to BE on the test. Could you please tell me what materials that you used to study for this??? I have all of the EC texts,Notes on CD from Lisa Arends, Notes on CD from Studygroup 101 AND Flashcard exchange info. I think I have TOO much info and need to figure out just what I REALLY need to know. I just cannot stand the thoughts of failing an exam. Again...GREAT JOB! Thanks for any help.

I just used TCN modules, that is all. I have not used anything else and so far so good with all of my tests. I looked into purchasing other material but I think it will overwhelm me and TCN modules are suppose to cover EVERYTHING. Its not a hard test but you need to go slow, take your time and READ the questions carefully and thoroughly. Remember that there is only ONE correct answer. Good Luck to you, take your time.

Hi there,
I do not even know your name. Thanks for the info on Health safety. I could not afford TCN so I went with other stuff and PROBABLY ended up spending as much if not more money but...as long as I pass.I just took Lifespan Dev Psych this morning and passed with an "A"...SHOCKER! I am so happy. Would like if we could keep in touch and "help" each other if we can.

I am also using TCN for my nursing, and had also used them for a few pre-reqs. Did you have to test out of Ethics? I used their binder and read over the material religiously and bombed the exam. Wondering if you took Ethics and how you did with their binder..
Congrats on the H and S exam!!! I am registering to take that exam today.

Julie,
I am sorry about your H&S test:( Just keep your chin up. Just a suggestion...try lisa Arends CDS!! They are GREAT! They pull everything together and organize it so it does not seem so "all over the place". Much luck to you.

They're just 100 or so random facts, that's all. As time goes on and the tests change, they probably become less relevant.
