Anyone from Florida know if we need labs for Anatomy & Physiology and Microbiology? I would like to do Excelsior College course for both but I am not sure if we can get licensed without lab.

I don't recall hearing anything like that for Florida, but I'm in Virginia, so I'm not sure! You should contact the BON just to make sure of the requirements. Welcome to the forum!

I think that if you go for your BSN in most states they may require you to take an A&P lab and a Micro Lab. But, it really depends on the state. I took A&P with a lab at a local college and transfered it into Excelsior, so when I apply for admissions to the BSN program at the University of Alabama they will take it. However, for the Micro they have not said one way or the other.

I know for a fact that you don't need a lab for the micro/anatomy and physiology classes. All of your lab time with Excelsior is during the CPNE. I'm from Florida, and I actually retook the a&p classes I and II with the labs because I was going to go to a community college instead of Excelsior. I had to retake them because the community college didn't recognize them. When I transferred back to Excelsior, they used my Excelsior grades and credits for my requirements.
