I am sorry to hear that. I wish I could help you I took Chronicity so I don't know how much different the two exams are. If you didn't already I would use the practice test and try to focus on what you got wrong. Also I would use the NCLEX study book. When I took the Chronicity practice test I thought I had it, until I got my score and realized I didn't know as much as I thought I did. I would concentrate on the areas in the exam, where you scored low %, make sure you read your questions very carefully. Sometimes on the test I will skip the question and come back to it. When I go back to answer it I feel like why didn't I know the answer before. What are you using to study? I hope this helps you. Good Luck. Also there was a post on the EPN site about this test I think, check that out as well.

Hi Lisa.
I am fairly new here, joined when i failed NC3 back in April. Same thing, thought i was prepared, thought i would get a B or so, answered 130 questions too, then Bangg!!! big fat 'F' i was so scared and devasted i changed my dates twice. I finally managed to gather the courage and took the test a week ago, i must say when i started the test and saw 130 questions again, my heart sank, started doubting myself....Then i purchased notes from anywhere i could find help, studygroup101 and Lisa Arends notes alomg with Flashcard exchange really help..What do you know i got an "A" i know this is a long answer, but my point is I know exactly how you feel...i am not sure what you study aids you utilized, but the notes listed above is what i would recommend along with your textbook...you can do it my dear...my email address is
melachamps@gmail.com
.. Let me know how i can help....

I am sorry to hear that you failed NC3. I know how you feel, I also failed NC3 and felt like I had passed until the screen poped up with a D. I honestly do not know what to focus on, I study patho, s/s, meds, labs and create care plans. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hey topicbrat-Don't feel bad. I also failed NC 3 sometime ago. I got a D. I plan to retake it later. I just kept going. Don't be discouraged! You will get there. I have three more left.

Not passing a test is not a "failure"....it is a learning experience. Look over your results and concentrate on areas where you had the lowest success. What book/study guide were you using? I do the CPNE in another week, so not a lot of time until after that, but would be glad to send some study notes after that.
