I passed with an "A" today and I am still in shock. This was a tough test, but luckily for me I had the cardio and respiratory down. I actually scored well in the abnormal cell growth, which I was most worried about. My worst area was the congenital stuff. My advice is to know your nursing priorities and interventions, Know your cardiac, respiratory and cancer meds. I had questions with actual drug names and had to know what side effects to look for. My brain is dead right now. On to NC 5 on Monday.

Thanks for all the encouragement.

Thanks Lisa. It was a hard test. I reviewed like crazy at work today and good thing I did. You are still my inspiration. I want to get this done now.

:DI take NC4 in July and am hoping I will pass. Have been studying it now for over 2 months. Have read the book 3 times. I figure, if I don't know it now, I never will. Great job on your A. Wish me luck!

Best of luck on this one. Make sure you review the nursing interventions and priorities. I had alot of questions on it. I also had several questions on cardiac drugs and what to expect as side effects if a patient was taking them. Digoxin was a big one. Respiratory had alot of COPD on it. I scored highest in this area.
