I am very disappointed. I failed my CpNE this weekend. I attended a workshop put on by a lady in Atlanta who claimed to work for one of the testing sites there. She had a very nice lab set up and seemed to know what she was talking about.
She totally lead me in the wrong direction.
I spent almost $5000 to attend her workshop and attend the CPNE.
When I left I asked the CA about her, I found out that this woman is not an Excelsior graduate, she does not know anything about the college program and that she is not recognized by them at all.  I also found out that I am not the first person to travel to Atlanta and fail after attending her workshop.
Now, I have to come up with the money to pay for another CPNE. Try and remove all of the bad material and information she put into my head. Learn it right this time and maybe come up with $800 to go to the EC workshop.
I need a workshop!  I can't do this on my own.  Can anyone please put me in the know of a good workshop that doesn't cost as much as Excelsior.  I saw 2 listed on this group but I have never heard of them.  Does anyone have any recommendations?

Lynn's workshop is $400 and she goes all over the US.  I am attending her workshop week after next inTexas.....she has a high pass rate....something like 92%.  Look overe to the side of this page...under MENU....click on CPNE Workshops.  She is listed there.

So sorry to hear you have to re-take.  What was the problem?  might help the rest of us not to make the same errors.

Becky, get your pen ready and be prepared to write write write.  She is so good!!!!! Have your paper ready, and dont look away, dont breath, just write.  Process it  later.

She will always be around to ask questions, AFTER the workshop too. She will answer your emails.  She is pretty special:)  And so is Beverly......

You will have fun!!!!

I can hardly wait...I am getting excited...actually for several reasons.  I am really looking forward to this workshop as a learning experience...plus, I am taking the entire week off work!  (Have not had a vacation since October of 2006)  and...I am taking Mom with me so she can get away and so my sister can have some free time...and because my Mom is a real hoot to take trips with!  You guys should see her on a cruise!  Mom is 85 and lives with me (my guinea pig for CPNE practice).

Still no date for the CPNE....applied 4 months ago tomorrow.

Congrats on passing!  I could definitely use some study tips!  I have taken 1-5, I have to retake 3 and 5.  The first 3 tests I used ALL the textbooks and for the 4 and 5 I have used Lisa Arends stuff (don't really like that info)... Does anyone have any better ideas for study material?  All you rockstars who are doing so well  Cheesy
