Hi Everybody, My name is Paul and I live in Northwest Ohio. I have been an LPN for 2 1/2 years and work primarily Intensive Care, ER, and Telemetry. I have already taken NC1...didn't need to take NC2 because of the recent rule change where working LPN's were allowed to skip (even though I had studied and was ready to take the exam) and I am currently working on Microbiology which I find very challenging.
Its great to meet all of you.

Hi Nancy,
Good luck with the CPNE!! I graduated Excelsior and passed the boards about 8 months ago. What a difference it has made in my life!! The CPNE is doable, just practice,practice,practice....

Hey Dave,
I work in a max security prison, what a totally different health care environment!! I've been there several years now, started there when I was an LPN.Now I make about $40.00 an hour!! I work for an agency and I'm not a "state nurse." The trade off for the great salary is that I don't recieve the excellent state benefits, but it works for me for now.
Kudos to you for starting this great website!!
