That is great Cleo.
I am glad you joined, this is just the kind of encouragement we need to keep moving along in the program. To actually hear from someone who has completed the course and is making good money.

Lisa here -- I'm 34 years old, I've been a paramedic since 2003, I work full-time in an ED as a tech, and I'm getting ready to test for A&P on May 14th. I'm also currently studying for NC1.
I've managed to score copies of Chancellor's study guides on eBay for a fraction of the "contractual" price. Woo hoo!

Hey Lisa,
Glad you finally decided to post to the board.
What do you think of the Chancellor guides?
I am still waiting for my evaluation from EC

Hello, My name is Bridget. I have been an LPN for only 3 months now, and I want to continue my education, anyone know how I know if this is the right program for me?
I am really ready to start NOW, but don't know how to set up clinicals. I have also heard a lot of people say "you don't want to do that program...you won't be hirable." Any suggestions?
thank you,
Bridget

I was a medical assistant before I finished the program. I have had alot of job offers after finishing EC. It maybe different where you are but here in Nevada EC is fine. No one questions my education. I have RN behind my name and that's all they care about. Good luck with whatever you decide.

In regards to being "hireable" with EC, I don't know about other states, but I am in Indiana and I have already had several job offers with the knowledge I will be an RN in the Fall (hopefully! WHEN I pass the CPNE)
I am an LPN now and have applied for several RN positions already.
