A Helping Hand...any other ideas?
«

I had not mentioned it before, but i have been trying to help other students who are having trouble with the costs. Anyone have any other ideas???
Passing books forward...
What I did with mine is send them to someone who needed the course. They then had to reimburse my postage and agree to send the books to the next person the same way. Kind of passing it on. Since the company I work for paid for my books, I was not out anything but postage so I thought if they sent me back the amount of postage then they had a good deal...but they had to agree to do the same for the next person. There has been a lot of mileage on some of the books! Since mine were from the old program, they will fizzle out in a few more months...maybe a year or so while people finish the courses they applied for before the deadline for change. Just my way of helping the next student out. I thought about selling them to make a little money, but then I thought about what a struggle it is to get the materials if you don't have a lot of funds....
I still have A&P, Micro and Life span to take so still have those books (but not yet ready to pass them on).
How about some more ideas to help our classmates make it to the top without busting the bank at home?

That is a great thing your doing. Text books are so expensive. I am having a hell of a time trying to find Chancellor's guides with audio, I've went on ebay, allnurses.com, yahoo groups, google search........ I can't find them. Is there not a direct source to buy them from, like the publishing company itself???/

Try
http://www.chancellorsonline.com/bsn/
This is the publishing company home page...Like The College Network (TCN) They sell package deals after reviewing your transcripts to see what you need. Contact them by eMail and see if you can get individual courses.
Good luck and God Bless!
