I think I remember seeing photos of past workshop groups, and I think they were wearing scrubs. Does anyone know what we should wear to the workshop?

And the thought of the white scrubs for the CPNE ... ugh. LOL!

I'll email Lynn and find out. I'll let you know what I hear! Smiley

Yup, white scrubs... Lisa, was it you that said that you weren't going to read your CPNE study guide until after your workshop?  I have been looking at it, I think you need to start reading it!  Maybe just a once-over, that way if you have any questions... Also, you can be getting familiar with the forms that they use, you know, those wont change.
I am mesmorized about the endless deatials we are going to have to have to know to pass this sucker!  Whew!  I can't stop reading it!
Well, anyway, about the dress code, it is at the beginning of the CPNE study guide...
Oh, I thought of you when they said to cover visible tatoos, you got visible tatoos?  How 'bout piercing?  Only piercing allowed is one set of stud earrings... Again with the deatils... EEK!!!!!!!!! Shocked

White scrubs to the workshop??  Yikes!!  I haven't even bought any white scrubs yet!  I thought I would wait until time for the CPNE.  I am really curious now...I wouldn't think you would have to wear white to the workshop, but, you never know.

I was just talking about the workshop attire -- what we should wear to Lynn's workshop. I don't think we have to wear those white scrubs just yet! No, those are just reserved for that one weekend.

I am planning on reading through my CPNE study guide -- I just wasn't going to pay attention to anyone else's grids or mnemonics so I could learn Lynn's method. She gave us some homework to do before the workshop, so I'll be doing that as well. Smiley

Yup, I'll have to wear long sleeves under my scrubs. I have a lot of visible ink -- like my entire right arm, and most of the left one. Wink Not as much as my husband, ha ha! I'm already planning on leaving my nostril ring out, and taking the extra ear piercings out. I can wear a tiny stud in my nose at work, but I didn't think it would fly for the CPNE! I'm not the only one with nose jewelry in our ER -- one of our docs has her nose pierced, and so does one of our PAs. Granted, their both Indian so it's a cultural thing, but hey.  Grin I sure like my nose better with jewelry! What a beak I have.  Cheesy

Beak!...my gluteus maximus.....you have a beautiful nose!

I understand that the workshop goes for casual/comfortable clothes... as opposed to the CPNE weekend and whites.

It's a distinguished beak, like those old guys on Roman coins. Hee hee!

Lookit that thang! LOL!  Grin

Casual/comfy clothes sound great ... I have plenty of those! My husband has decided to stay behind, alas ... he doesn't want to take too much time off from the tattoo shop, and we'd have to find someone to watch our fur-kids (our four cats).
