Hello letsrun,
Print out or request the content guide.  Its pretty straight forward.  Each section is broken down.  I used Chancellors with cds. Bought it off of ebay.

The practice exams cost 60 dollars, and I recommend them.  But you have to pay for the "real exam" first, before you can buy the practice ones.  You just need to start studying, thats it.

Good luck

What made you decide to do NC4 first? Personally, I'd do NC1 before any of the others -- only because NC1 is about the nursing process, which is a topic you'll see again and again, in one form or another, throughout the other exams. It helps to have that as a foundation. Of course, you can go in any order you want ... just my opinion/experience! Best of luck! Smiley

Buy Lisaarends CD's.  Im using the one for #3 and find it superior to my College networks book.  And thanks to LisaSarao I took the online practice tests. Cost 60 bucks but getting an understanding as to what they think is important and the way they ask the questions is fantastic.  I will not take a test now with out taking these.   Good lusk

I have the TCN books, flashcard exchange and Lisa Arend's notes and I ALWAYS do the EC practice tests.  By the time I test I know the TCN test well and the EC practice tests well....thanks much to Lisa Arends notes and flashcard exchange.  There have always been questions from each practice test and the TCN test and the EC booklet test.  So far I have gotten As on all tests...still have to do Foundations, though...could be the breaker!  I make hand-written notes on the EC missed questions...concepts only, as we are not allowed to copy the questions/answers down.  If I am doing extremely poorly on a subject I go back to the TCN module and take a few notes...but usually Flashcard Exchange or Lisa Arends notes have already got the info outlined for me and I just have not paid enough attention.  Good luck everyone on what ever test you are preparing for!

These cards really helped me get the hormone imbalances straight, they were confusing to me!
