Hello!! Are there any nurses in Michigan going through excelsior? Well, a coworker told me she checked out this and says not to do it because its not accredited, (which I know it is) and that schools here won't accept the degree if I decide to go farther (like masters, NP etc.) Well on the istudymart website it shows a list of colleges accepting the degree and UofM and MI sate are on the list. I assume they wouldn't put out a false list. I don't have plans to go that far, just to get my associates or bachelors. But I was curious if anyone in Michigan has had any problems with their excelsior nursing degree. After looking at colleges, this seems like the best route for me. I have no time for the clinicals and sitting in a class room, I am single mom (dtr who is in 5th grade who has lots of homework) and have to work full time.
