Hi!  I am a new EC student and just took my first exam last week in micro.  I am now ready to enroll and start the nc classes.  I wasn't sure if I would go this route and decided to give the micro a chance.  I am hoping the other tests will be similar.  I graduated in dec. of 2006 from a traditional lpn program but am not a traditional student.  I have an undergraduate in bio/chem and was an environmental chemist until I had my first child - stayed home with him and second son and when youngest was in 2nd grade decided to go back to school to get a nursing degree.  I am working part-time in home health while I do this program and keep up with the boys.  So that's my story.  Thanks for all of the advice on this website.  It is really helpful.  Lisa

Another Lisa, how great!  You jumped in taking Micro? <gasp!>  I guess that was easy/not-as-challenging since you are already  bio chemist?  I haven't taken Micro, waiting for the last.  I believe you will do wonderfully.  You just got out of LPN school, therefore, you have the majority of the information fresh in your mind!  Glad to meet you!  ~Jodi

Welcome to the forum, Lisa!  I agree with Jodi, since you are a recent LPN grad, the material will be fresh in your head. You will do great!  I can't imagine taking Micro first....YIKES!
