I *only* had A&PI though college they won't accept because it isn't part one and two.

Did anyone just bite the bullet and take EC's A&P, or did you go back to college to take part 2?
How was just taking EC?

<sigh>
It seems like the closer I get, the further away I am.  Sad

I would go ahead and bite the bullet and take EC's, you can study the same way as you have for the NC tests.

But remember, you dont have to have all your requirements done before you are able to schedule for the CPNE, you have to be (please correct me someone if I am wrong Cheesy) 10 or so credits away from being done. But you do have to have all the nursing concept exams done.

I will have to take several general requirements when I schedule the CPNE, but during the long wait, I plan to take any remaining exams. (so maybe you can hold off on the A & P until later and just concentrate on Nursing concepts)

I hope that helps!!!!

That is what I am doing too.  I will have A&P, Micro and dev. Psych left while I wait for the CPNE.  You can have no more than 10 hours left when you request the CPNE.  I am taking the EC A&P...no harder than finding a college course and taking A&P2 from there.  Besides, I am familiar with their tests.  Don't know if that helps...

Thank you my friends!   Smiley

Yeah, I need A&P, micro, (you know, the easy classes? LOL) Lifespan psychology and ethics, those I'm gonna CLEP right after I finish the nursing.  Then that Info Literacy.  You know, they say I lack ONE hour of an art/science. <screams loudly and pulling hair>
My dh believes that I should just take the A&P through EC and be done with it.  So, I guess I can apply for the CPNE after the CLEPs, that will leave me with exactly 10 credits left.

Thanks for writing back and allowing me to vent... I feel better now.  Wink
