Thank you for all your congrats. And yes, I am so relieved!! I was worried that if I didnt get atleast a C,  I would have to wait 120 days before taking it again...So the pressure was on.  And I had planned on being well into the CPNE tunnel in 120 days, if all went well. And it did!

I celebrated last nite, I went to bed early.ha ha

Got an A...Thank God!!!!Took NC4 today and now on to 5 or 7...still have to decide which!  Think I will celebrate by cleaning my room...it is a disaster after 3 weeks of studying NC4!!!  Books and notes everywhere!   Roll Eyes
Again, I thank God for the test results...and for the ability to get it done quickly...and most especially for delaying my round of the flu bug going around the nursing home until AFTER the test! Shocked

By the time I left the testing center I definitley had the aches and pains and the congestion...I had been ignoring it all day.  Tonight I have the productive cough and low grade temp.  Going to clean the room another day....just vegged out this PM!!!

Will keep you in the prayers, jjodii!!!  I believe in it!

THANK YOU BJ!!!!  Grin  I'm at the tail end of the creeping crud yall are describing, I'm still a tad achey, and congestive cough, I don't believe they will let me take kleenex to take the test though, maybe I should wear long sleeves for my runny nose?  Huh LOL, gross, I know... sorry!

I am new to this study group and am scheduled to take NC4 at the end of the month.  Where do I go to get practice questions ( besides the EC practice test) and can anyone give me any hints of what to study for.  I read about the one test with a lot of heart anatomy.  I am getting my study guides through Chancellors and I feel like I am missing quite a lot of information.  I am dragging things out of the cobwebs from my LPN days.  I need some guidance and help, please!  MEG

Be sure you download the EC exam content guide -- those tell you EXACTLY what you need to know! No hints required. Wink I've been using Chancellor's guides as the main study source for all my nursing concept exams, and I've done well -- one B, five A's. Smiley With NC4, I had to make sure I knew the Abnormal Cell Growth stuff like the back of my hand to be successful on that test; I was already confident in cardiac and respiratory.

I found that what works for me as far as making sure that the Chancellor's guide covered everything was to turn the EC exam content guide into a checklist, and cross-check my learning against the exam content guide. If there was an area I felt wasn't covered adequately, I used other resources (textbooks, etc.) to find the information. But for the most part, I've found Chancellor's study guides to be excellent for a high-level first pass through the material.

I don't really use any practice tests besides the ones in the study guides or the EC practice tests, so I don't really have more info on those.

Welcome to the group!
