Passed NC7 with an A today. Yay!!! I used a Chancellor's guide as well as Lisa Arends' notes (just lightly) to prepare for this one.

The test was VERY similar to the practice tests. Same flavor of questions. Smiley

On to NC5 (9/26), then to NC6 (10/17)! Smiley

Thanks, all! I'm starting to quietly freak out (just in my own head) about the CPNE. Ha ha! Cheesy I'm really looking forward to Lynn's workshop in December -- that ought to help quiet those freak-out thoughts. Wink

Hey Lisa, you are doing such a great job!  I have a question, and forgive me if you have answered it somewhere else, but why did you take NC7 before 4, 5, and 6?

It's okay, Jodi -- I probably did answer it elsewhere, but I can't remember where, nor do I mind answering it again! Smiley

I wanted to try studying for two exams at the same time, so I picked NC4 and NC7 to study together. Well, not exactly together, but they overlapped -- I did study both for a time, and was almost done with my initial "first sweep" of NC7 when I tested for NC4. NC7 is very dry and factual, so it seemed the easiest to combine with another NC. Smiley

Lisa, you've been so much help to me in the past with your guidance on where to find study material, that once again I am requesting your expertise.  I know I have asked you this before and you told me to look under foundations of professional practice instead of NC7, in the files.  I have tried that and came up with nothing except from minnay.  So either I am not doing something correctly or I need more suggestions.  Either way I am going to start preparing for this exam on Mon 26,07.  I also plan to use the EC practice test, but if there is any other tips or advice your willing to give up, it would greatly be appreciated.  Thanks Bunches, Crystal K.

P.S If anyone else that is reading this would like to give their input feel free!!

They're all there, under Nursing Concepts 7; not sure why you're not finding them. I'd recommend Lisa Arends' notes, too.
