So I figured I'd get NC7 out of the way. Smiley I've scheduled my exam for Sept. 17th. I'm still taking NC4 on Sept. 4, but I'll probably take both study guides to read/review while I lounge by the in-laws' pool next week.  Grin

I'm scheduled for NC7 on September 10th.  Studying now, dry stuff.  It doesn't look too bad, and that worries me.  Good luck!

I listened to the entire Chancellor's audio guide for NC7 on the way from New Hampshire back to Virginia today. It put my husband directly to sleep!! Ha ha ha ha!! Mostly dry stuff, but some of it is interesting, anyway.

I don't see NC7 in the list of exams . . . what is this exam??  Is it for the RN?  OR is it for the higher levels?

It's actually called "Foundations of Professional Practice," but it's the 7th test, so it's generally referred to as "NC7." Smiley

I scheduled my last NC, at the end of this month. There werent very many open dates. Has anyone found that to be a problem?  There used to be many times and dates to choose from. Maybe its just where I am scheduling mine, but what the heck??

Atleast its scheduled. And I have plenty of time to fall asleep studying this wonderful stuff.

I found that to be true when I was scheduling some as well, but you can go check it everyday, that's what I did, there are people rescheduling all of the time and you can get an earlier day, if that is what you want!

Thanks Jodi.  I will be checking daily Smiley

Between being a mom, work and studying, I feel I am in a tunnel.  Thank goodness for EC, because I dont know how I would make time for actual in class time.

Do you feel that way?

Yup, this is the only way to go for me, and if I had known I had "it" in me, I would have done it YEARS AGO!!!  The change in the curriculium is what forced my hand to finally get it done!

I work 24 hours on the weekends and get paid for 32, plus I do home health during the week (this is school money), and I'm a wife and homeschool our two kids ages 10 and 12!  Whew!  Somewhere in there I sneak in some time to myself to study.  If I could study in the shower, I would! LOL!

I like your hours---work 24 get paid for 32.  I work every other weekend, 24 hours, and get paid for 24 hours.  My place doesnt offer that Undecided   I do work 36 hours a week.

And you do home schooling on top of it all?  Your amazing!! When DO you find time to study???  You must be very organized!!

Not organized, just crazy, LOL.  Nah, my housework does get put on the back burner, but kiddo's are really great about helping out.  I usually study when the kids are doing their work, or outside playing.  Fortunately, the majority of this information is review.  The only concerns for me is the peds, not a pedi girl.  Not a trauma girl either like Lisa S.. Eek... I'm the 911 girl when trauma is around... LOL!
