Thanks to everyone for your responses! I will be posting a journal at some point in Aug. My experience at Southern Regional was beautiful, challenging and demanding!I feel like ten times a better nurse for having gone thru my clinicals there!!!!! As long as you know your stuff, (care plans, AOC, critical elements, and watch your time) you will pass! Remember to make your care plan specific to the patients actual problem..dx..  Despite what you might have heard, they really do want you to pass!!!! I hope this helps!

Renee, I went to Sheri Taylor's workshop in person in Atlanta, and I also was tutored by Mrs. Dora Weir an ex- examiner in Snellville, Ga., I also used Rob's mnemonics. They all prepared me for EVERYTHING I NEEDED TO KNOW. Yes, you do have to take what they teach you and apply it to your daily practice. If you practice everyday it will become second nature to you. Make sure that you have read and understand all of your critical elements. If you haven't read them, please do, and if you have a question call your Excelsior advisor and get the help you need. I hope this helps!
